FOUNDATIONS

Before the first cut is made or the first concrete mixed, we'll first go through a planning period to discover design goals, structural priorities, and other related issues

Joinery

In this style we use a rustic chainsaw notch method of joining the frame members.  The pieces tap together with a mallet and the whole structure will stand firm even before fastners are applied.

Framing

As the structure grows and begins to define the space, we still look for ways to improvise and improve on initial designs.  These lowered end beams create a transom effect and give the space below a marvelous feel.

finished

Much more than just a roof over our heads, a project of this magnitude begs us to consider use, flow, feel, texture, color, and as many other factors as we must to achieve an unforgettable outcome and lasting pleasure.
